Repair or Replace?

Repairs can cover many types of ills. Some of the most common:

• Harddrive fails / replace with new harddrive
• CD/DVD fails / replace with new multi DVD Drive
• Machine is sluggish / add more memory
• On-board Video fails / replace with video card

All of these are easily fixable problems, If the machine is within three to five years old, the parts are generally available for the machine and it is cost-effective to make the repair. If the machine is over five years old, part are most likely going to be more difficult to come by and more expensive. If parts do prove expensive, instead of investing in repairs, it is a better option to invest in newer technology.
